1. Preparation

Download your copy of Drupal version 7.x and install it. We wont be focusing on installation guide for Drupal because there are many online guides and tutorials to teach you. However, these are few usefull links which can get you started.

2. Nexus Framework

Nexus framework is collection of mostly used features which can be easily installed and manipulated. Rather working on lengthy process of adding individual modules, using Nexus framework allows you to add and edit features easily with an integrated cPanel.

By default Nexus Frameworks is bundled with all modules, and the main settings screen has a simple interface and sorts modules by there types. For the ease of understanding modules are further clubed together according to their features.

Activating Modules

Activating modules is simple two step process:

Step 1 you need to choose and edit required modules according to your needs on nexus framework page (www.sitename.com/admin/nexusframework) and click on "Save Configuration" button at bottom of the page.

Step 2 would be selecting postions for each module from blocks page (www.sitename.com/admin/blocks) and configuring individual blocks. Again all changes are to be saved by clicking on "Save Configuration" button.

2.1. Slideshow

Nexus Slideshow allows you to showcase images with nice jquery effects. Slideshow is flexible and easily customizable, and transitions of images are creatively handled by adding jquery effects. Further one can even link each image to any article.

Configuring slideshows is effortless with just a course of few clicks.

Step 1 Click on "Number of slides to show" button and select the number of slides to be displayed.
Step 2 Browse and upload your resized images. If you have any doubts with image size to be used, kindly check individual theme's demo at www.themesplanet.com.
Step 3 would be linking your article to each image. Clicking on slect article button will give a dropdown with list of articles to choose from.
Step 4 After selecting your article, scroll down and click on "Save Configuration" to save your changes.

2.2 Featured Post

Featured post is a practical widget to showcase maximum 7 posts on any position. Posts will be featured gracefully with Thumbnails and Article Titles.

Step 1 Select number of posts by selecting the number from the dropdown.
Step 2 would be choosing individual artciles for selected number of posts. Once the articles are selected, module automatically creates thumbnails of article images and displays the same with linkable titles.

2.3 Custom HTML

Using custom HTML you can create your own widgets to be displayed on sidebar, footer or anywhere else. Thanks to full HTML support which allows you to innovatively design widgets with permutation and combination of images, text, polls and lot more to suit your theme requirements.

Maximum 4 custom HTMLs can be created

Step 1 select the number of custom HTMLs you wish to create.
Step 2 give appropriate title to every custom HTML.
Step 3 Enter main content of your custom HTML. As mentioned above you can add images, text or any possible combination supported by HTML.
Step 4 Choose your Text format. Find the additional infomration mentioned below with regards to Text formats.

a) Filtered HTML

Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <cite> <blockquote> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd>.
Lines and paragraphs are automatically recognized.

b) Full HTML

Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
Lines and paragraphs are automatically recognized.

c) Plain text

No HTML tags allowed.
Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
Lines and paragraphs are automatically recognized.

Step 5 Save configuration.

2.4 Nexus Tabs

Nexus Tabs allows you to get rid of clumsy layout and present your data in elegant way making your sites interactive and save on page space. With versatility to suit any design and theme, Tabs are favorite option to display content. Below are two examples on how tabs are creatively used by designers.
Nexus Tabs are exhaustive and multipurpose widgets which can be featured on any position and page. Additionally working with Nexus Tabs is simple and easy which even allows beginners to take full advantage of it.

Step 1 Enter Title for Tab1 and Tab 2
Step 2 Here enter individual tab contents using supporting text formats.
Step 3 Choose your text format. For additional information on Text Format refer 3.3 Custom HTML.
Step 4 Save Settings.

2.5 Nexus Accordion

Sometimes all what you need is stupid simple accordion to complete your theme, and we have got the same for you. Nexus accordion is simple 3 widgets integration with accordion effect, which converts your empty space into stylish widget to display content. Image 1.1 is an example of Nexus Accordion.

Nexus Accordion module is created understanding the simplicity in magnificence and setting up Nexus Accordion is similar to Nexus Tabs.
Step 1 Enter your accordion Titles
Step 2 Accordion contents are to be inserted using supporting text formats.
Step 3 Choose your text format. For additional information on Text Format refer 3.3 Custom HTML.
Step 4 Save Settings.

2.6 Nexus Sliders

Nexus slider modules is a dead easy to use responsive module to display your images and articles in any postion. It allows you to create image rotations with custom jQuery effects applied to every transition.

One can activate upto 3 sliders on single or multiple pages, converting monogamous websites into interactive call to actions. Activating Nexus Slider is simple three step process.

Step 1 Click on appropriate slider module to select from.
There are three different ways to display sliders.

1) Slider (Simple) : If activated this module displays only images linking to respective articles.
2) Slider (Title) : This module allows you to show the article title with the image. All the titles will be linkable.
3) Slider (Content) : Choosing Slider content will feature Image, article and description with read more button. Even here you can find linkable titles.

Step 2 click on individual posts and select each article.
Step 3 Save configuration.

2.7 Meta Data

We understand SEO, and we will assist you with onsite SEO efforts. Page title allows you to allocate appropriate tiles to your homepage, making your site appealing to your visitors and bring in more clicks to your rankings.

To activate Pate title, click on Page Title tab under SEO module and click on individual text boxes to mentiond your Page title and slogan, and save your configuration.

2.8 Youtube

You may have unique ideas to interact with your customers and we appreciate your creativity. Youtube module allows you to pull videos from youtube and showcase your film on any defined position.

Click on "Enter Youtube Id" text box and enter your video id and save configuration.

2.9 Vimeo

Web is changing and so are we, so let's not restrict ourselves with only one service. Add more ways to interact with your visitors.

Just as like Youtube module Vimeo works for Vimeo videos, enter your Vimeo Id in the text box and save your settings.

2.10 Flickr

So no matter it its general blog or corporate facet, there is lot more to share with your visitors. Flickr module allows you to intergrate your images to your site in a trouble free method.

To share your snaps with your visitors all you need to do is follow these simple steps.

Step 1 Enter your desired Gallery Title.
Step 2 Mention your Flickr Id from which the Photos are to be fetched.
Step 3 Enter your Flickr set ID.
Step 4 Save Configuration.

2.11 Social Media

Make your site interactive and allow your users to share your each piece of content socially. This module will automatically add Social buttons like facebook like, twitter, linkedin, and google plus to any chosen node type. There are 4 different platforms to choose around with basic features to play around.

4.1.1) Facebook Button

4.1.3) LinkedIn Button
4.1.4) Google Plus Button

To activate Social buttons follow below steps.
Step 1 Choose your social button by clicking on it.
Step 2 Enable the respective button
Step 3 Select appropriate features for your buttons.

Content Types: Select content type of articles or basic pages to display buttons
Node Type: Type of node is to be selected here by clicking on desired node
Button Type: There are 4 basic button types available. Select the desired button by clicking on it.

2.12 Twitter box

This module displays your latest tweets and allows visitors to follow your tweets. Integrating and customizing Nexus twitter box is very easy.
Activate your Nexus twitter box by following below steps

Step 1 enter your twitter name.
Step 2 Choose the number of tweets to be displayed.
Step 3 Enter widget height in pixels.
Step 4 Enter shell background color.
Step 5 Meniton shell color.
Step 6 Mention tweets backgroud color.
Step 7 Enter tweets color.
Step 8 Mention tweets link color.

2.13 Facebook box

Packed with themesplanet themes facebook box is one of the easiest facebook fan box module in drupal. Intergrated with Nexus framework this module is auto installed in all our themes allowing users to showcase their facebook fans on any desired location.

Allow your readers to directly connect with you and let them become your fan. Activating this module is effortless

Step 1 Enter your facebook page url.
Step 2 Enter your widget height.
Step 3 Enter your widget width.
Step 4 Choose your background color for facebook widget.
Step 5 Choose your widget border color.
